It's very strange playing Sherlock and John as parents. John sounds so dad-like and quite un-John-like to me in this series, but snaps back to the John we know when Genie hears to him talking to Sherlock; while Sherlock seems to be much more patient and explanatory than usual. It's fun, because this shows that it really is Genie's story, and that her parents are on the periphery - and she's very easy to like :)
